The Dictionary of Christian Biography in Asia (DCBAsia.org) is a collaborative project with two main sponsors – Seminari Theoloji Malaysia (STM) and Overseas Missionary Fellowship (OMF). Both also serve as resource centres. DCBAsia.org comes under the auspices of STM and is based at the STM campus in Seremban, Malaysia.

Seminari Theoloji Malaysia (STM)

STM came into existence as a joint Anglican, Evangelical Lutheran and Methodist venture on January 6, 1979. The vision of STM is to equip God’s people for ministry and mission. Its mission is to facilitate full-time workers and lay people to grow in Christian maturity and to train them for ministry and service in and through the Church. As of October 1984, the seminary has been accredited by the Association for Theological Education in South East Asia (ATESEA) to grant the Bachelor of Theology, the Bachelor of Divinity, and the Master of Divinity degrees. To date, the Master of Ministry, the Doctor in Ministry as well as Master of Theology are accredited by the Association for Theological Education in South East Asia (ATESEA).

Overseas Missionary Fellowship (OMF)

OMF serves the church and seeks to bring the gospel to all the peoples of East Asia. Its work is as diverse as the places and people it works in and amongst. From church planting to missional business, student work to medical practice, OMF aims to present the gospel, in a culturally relevant way, through word and deed. The organisation aims to see an indigenous biblical church movement in each people group of East Asia, evangelising their own people and reaching out in mission to other peoples.
